About the author
1967년 서울에서 태어났으며 연세대학교 사회학과를 졸업했다. 2001년 『동정 없는 세상』으로 제6회 문학동네작가상을 수상하며 문단에 나왔다. 2006년 『아내가 결혼했다』로 제2회 세계문학상을 수상했다. 그 밖에 낸 책으로 장편소설 『새는』과 소설집 『그 여자의 침대』가 있다.
