처음 듣는 목소리와 말투였다. 유인의 심장이 미친 듯이 방망이질해 댔다.
뜨겁게 달아오른 살갗이 느껴지기라도 할까 조마조마한데, 정작 태강은 눈을 지그시 감고 있을 뿐이었다.
유인은 흔들리는 시선으로 사로잡힌 손을 내려다봤다.
“언제까지 지킬 수 있을지 모릅니다.”
문득 그의 말이 이어졌다. 퍼뜩 고개를 든 유인은 머뭇거리다가 되물었다.
“……뭘요?”
그러자 서서히 눈을 뜬 태강이 검은 눈동자로 유인을 직시했다.
