Anfang März 2020 ist die Welt noch in Ordnung - Doch dann kommt Corona (Covid-19) und macht aus einer Fernsehautorin ungewollt eine Grundschullehrerin am heimischen Küchentisch. Zwischen Laufdiktaten, Rechenmauern und Schreibschriftkurs versucht die "Pädagogin" wider Willen ihren Humor nicht zu verlieren. Und deswegen schreibt sie sich jeden Tag mit einem Augenzwinkern und einer Prise Selbstironie den Homeschooling-Frust von der Seele: "10 Uhr. Mir schießt der Gedanke durch den Kopf, dass mir Homeschooling mittlerweile richtig Spaß macht. Da hab' ich aber ganz schnell mal nachgeschaut, ob mir jemand was in den Gin Tonic gemischt hat."

Ilka Wasserzier, geboren 1978 in Geilenkirchen, lebt seit fast zwei Jahrzehnten ihre Kreativität beim Fernsehen aus. Sie schreibt Drehbücher und Sprechertexte, war an der Entwicklung vieler Formate beteiligt und dreht als Regisseurin Reportagen, Doku-Soaps und Imagefilme. Ilka Wasserzier wohnt mit ihrer Familie in einer Kleinstadt in der Nähe von Bonn.
