Lots of inaccuracies. Young royal and noble ladies always had attendants, and were never permitted to be alone with young men, riding or otherwise.

About the author

Robin Maxwell began writing novels about the historical figures she had been obsessing about since graduating from Tufts University with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
