About the author

Jessica was raised on a small farm in Connecticut, where her family raised livestock and grew their own crops, as well as operating a maple sugar house, where Jessica gained early experience developing and merchandizing local products. Through her floral design company, Jessica Robinson became one of the most sought-after wedding and event designers in New England and elsewhere. Her floral designs graced the pages of numerous magazines and blogs. Today, Jessica lives on a small farm with her husband and two sons. You will often find her on weekends at local farmer's markets selling homemade jams, jellies and confections she's created. She is the editor, recipe developer and photographer of Carolina Farmhouse Kitchen, a blog which features local food and farming, household tips, old-fashioned recipes, ideas for backyard entertaining, and life behind the scenes at the farm.
