关于此电子书

There have been a number of books on AC – one of Britain’s oldest and most respected car makers – but this is the first to concentrate on the Two-litre Saloon and the coachbuilt Tourer which shared the chassis and 6-cylinder engine, the Buckland Sports.

An absolutely invaluable companion for owners of these cars and fascinating for all AC enthusiasts, this book tells the story of development, production and motorsport. It also contains much sage advice on ownership and maintenance, and even tips on performance tuning the classic AC two-litre engine.

Appendices detail major specification changes and feature a complete record of every chassis, including year of registration, body colours, chassis and engine numbers.

The story of these cars is illustrated by an extraordinary collection of images, many very rare, and including unique original concept/design illustrations for the Two-litre Saloon.

作者简介

AC enthusiast extraordinaire, Leo Archibald bought his first AC at the age of 16 and over the years has owned several AC saloons, Aces and even a MkIV Cobra. He also built and campaigned an AC special in the 1980s, a car which took him to an outright win of the Irish Historic Championship Class and a first at a Bentley Driver's Club race meeting at Silverstone in 1986. Leo's love of music and the guitar have given him the opportunity to feature on Irish television and also to work on live sessions for the BBC. He and his wife, Resa, have three children and live in Derby, England.
