Aquaculture, farming of aquatic animals and plants, is one of the world’s fastest growing food production systems. Ujwala Jadhav (Ph.D.) is Reader in the Department of Life Sciences, University of Mumbai, Mumbai. She has more than 20 years of teaching experience. She is a member of the Society for Science and Environment, the Indian Women’s Scientists Association and Zoology Teachers Association. Dr. Jadhav has published several articles in various journals.
