Still the Hesseman heart and soul persist.

Once again, you are invited to accompany a northwesterly journey on which Callie follows a passion and then veers off into her own orbit. Genetics cast aside, she bears the banner of pioneer determination, curiosity, and adventure, supported by Clint, whose background provides an unlikely complement. As a team, they come to personify the triumph of the fruits of the Spirit over human frailty and failure.

Soon to come Miracle Downs, third in a series by the same author, will bring to life a trial of the picnicker “faith that will not shrink” as Clint and Callie realize his life dream and fall in love with their challenging, yet gifted, special child.

Floy Timmerman, author of I Never Knew You Had a Canary and The Picnickers responded to requests for ongoing word of the Hessemans with A Blanket Benediction.Soon to follow will be Miracle Downs and a collection of inspirational readings yet to be titled.A retired teacher and administrator, she lives in a modest Colorado home with her husband and near her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoys playing the organ and volunteer library work. She is available for speaking to classrooms and adult groups on a wide variety of topics embracing pioneer life, language arts, and publishing experiences.
