About this eBook

Now a major motion picture, Stephen King's brilliant and terrifying story of a marriage with truly deadly secrets.

Darcy Anderson’s husband of more than twenty years is away on one of his routine business trips when the unsuspecting Darcy looks for batteries in the garage. Her toe knocks up against a hidden box under a worktable and in it she discovers a trove of horrific evidence that her husband is two men—one, the benign father of her children, the other, a raging rapist and murderer. It’s a horrifying discovery, rendered with bristling intensity, and it definitively ends “A Good Marriage.”

This story was originally published in Stephen King’s acclaimed collection, Full Dark, No Stars.

100 page e-book that was not worth it for the price. I expected way more from such an acclaimed storyteller such as Mr.King. this story was a very bland a+b plot that I found no suspense or horror in. This book took me less than a day to start and finish and the bonus story at the end was half the length of the book I paid for. To call this book a let down would be a gross understatement. Do. Not. Waste. Your. Time.

I'm new to the e-reader world and this taught me a lesson. Maybe you can judge a book by its cover. Steven king books are, to me, a promise of distraction. Mr King, this was a short story with no word count to let me know in advance I would not be pleased. I want my six bucks back!

A Good Marriage: It was a slow beginning, however very descriptive. King paints a picture of a seemingly average marriage, then just as it starts getting crazy, bam! It ends. I was left wanting. 1922: Wow. I saw the movie a year ago, and was very impressed. The book is even better! The way the story is told is extremely unique and fascinating. I was hooked until the end, even though I already knew the ending from the movie. This is by far my favorite King novel yet.
