It all began in his belief. “I was not a Boy Scout like my other school mates, nor did I have prior training in most of what was in the OBS curriculum. So it was all new experience for me. I experienced fear, anxiety and misgivings especially in the first week. However I soon found out something about my abilities in athletics; that I could run faster, jump higher and throw longer than I had ever done or imagined before. I found that all this could be achieved with proper technique and greater determination and discipline. And as my confidence grew, the fear and the anxiety receded.
