About this eBook

New York Times bestselling author Jude Deveraux will capture your heart with signature classic novel, a time travel romance featuring a present-day heroine and a dashing hero from the sixteenth century!

Abandoned by a cruel fate, lovely Dougless Montgomery lies weeping upon a cold tombstone in an English church. Suddenly, the most extraordinary man appears. It is Nicholas Stafford, Earl of Thornwyck…and according to his tombstone he died in 1564.

Drawn to his side by a bond so sudden and compelling it overshadows reason, Dougless knows that Nicholas is nothing less than a miracle: a man who does not seek to change her, who finds her perfect, fascinating, just as she is. What Dougless never imagined was how strong the chains are that tie them to the past…or the grand adventure that lay before them.

Hailed worldwide as one of the most romantic novels of all time, A Knight in Shining Armor is “a glorious love story that spans centuries, worlds, and souls. It is the epitome of every woman’s fantasy” (Daily Herald, Chicago).

If you truely want to get away this is the book for you. I so fell in love with these characters. I laughed, cried, and ultimately smiled. I would recommend this book to anyone. I don't call these books strictly romance, because before I started reading Jude I was more of an eclectic reader, and It definitely didn't include romance, but after a friend lent me my first Jude book I have been hooked. She just has a way of lifting my spirits. Thankyou Jude Deveraux

This was a very entertaining book. I read it in less than 24 hours and it has all you can possibly want form a book. Here is a young woman that never seem to do anything right in the eyes of her family especially in love cases. She is drawn to the men that are bad for her either theives, murders, or ones that are so vain she cannot ever seen the true beauty that she posseses. She is a school teacher that is treated really bad by a man that put her in the bottom of the barrel and uses her and abuses her. He leaves her in a cemetary in England and while she is crying she pray for a knight in shining armor and out appears a Very handsom man dressed in 16th century armor and that is just the beginning to know what happens read the book. I laughed in this book and tears even approched me. It is a great read.
