Her Doctorate of Philosophy is in Biological Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Dr. Smith has worked as a scientific advisor in intellectual property law, and as a volunteer research scientist in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) of a New Jersey hospital. Rosalynn is the co-director of Brad Smiths True Foundation. Additionally, she is the wife of NFLplayer Brad Smith, and mother to their son, Alex and daughter, Brea.
