I received an early copy of this book. Lila is an intelligent law school dropout working for a large box chain store because she doesn't know what she wants to do with her life. It's definitely not law. When her super cute neighbor/friend asks her to commit a felony and marry him, she has no idea what she's getting herself into (except it's illegal), but she says yes. So I don't give any spoilers, let's just say she finds out secrets about him that would blow anyone's mind. Words cannot describe how much I loved this book. It's laugh out loud funny and well-written with dimensional, diverse characters. A wonderful addition to anyone's library!! I received an early copy of this book and I am leaving a voluntary review.

A fun romp! I've enjoyed all the books I've read by Laura Heffernan, and this was another enjoyable experience. Her characters are likeable, the situations well written. I always come away with a smile. A Royal Farce is a light hearted story, and I look forward to reading the next installment. I definitely recommend it!

She is trying to get the house all fix up so she can get rid of it. He need a fake relationship and he agrees to help her if she helps him. She agrees but no one truly believes it all. Especially when she learns he is a prince and his brother says she is not worthy enough. Will the fake relationship become real? Will it all fall apart? How will she cope with it all? Laura Heffernan is the award-winning, internationally best-selling author of fun, witty romantic comedies and more serious women’s fiction. After a few years of practicing law, she realized that she much preferred arguing with her characters rather than other people. It’s easier to win that way.

When not watching total strangers get married, drag racing queens, or cooking competitions, Laura enjoys board games, travel, board games, baking, and board games. She lives in the northeast with her husband, the world’s most active toddler, and two furry little beasts.
