I liked the characters. Willow as a much stronger female lead than Mel was in book 1. However, I feel like she just gave in a little too easily with everything. She had only spoken to Jasper once before she was in love with him. It just was a little too rushed for me. The chemistry there and so is the romance it just needs a little extra push. I did like getting to know more about the pack and the inner working of what goes on with them. I think this will help set up for the other stories. I really want to love this series. I think it has great potential.

It's too fast paced and the story is not even close to believable. There is no real meat to this story. That being said I've read other books by Carrie that are better than this but I couldn't even make it to third chapter. The reviews on this book are rigged. Just saying, I'm glad it was free

Misunderstandings all over the place in this story, and I am totally on board with our heroine, Jasper is silent when he should speak and speaks when he should think! That being said, he realizes pretty quickly and recovers when he has messed up, if only he could do that beforehand! Series need a running theme, and we get it here. We get the bad guys, and they do bad things. We get out good guys having to do good and bad things to win over the bad guys Overall, this was a wonderful love story with lots of action, and some heartbreak, in it, and had me diving into the next story to see what would happen next!
