About the author

Mia Mulrennan has enjoyed dual careers in both talent and academia. She is currently the chief talent officer for Edmentum, an education-technology company headquartered in Minneapolis. She is a speaker, author, and professor specializing in psychology applied to talent, leadership, culture, and brands, and she has created a selection and development survey to garner quality customer-facing talent. Mulrennan was the recipient of the Georgetown University Teaching Excellence Award in 2016 and is author of Passed Over and Pissed Off: The Overlooked Leadership Talents of Generation X.
