Excellent series for those long nights when sleep just won't come. The story is interesting and kept me wanting more. You can sense the characters as you become drawn in to their world. A winner for Aaron Hodges.

Although this kind of fantasy genre isn't my usual favorite read I got this book because I read another by this author who I very much had enjoyed. This one was action-packed and with interesting characters and plot twists It was one that I found difficult to put down in order to get to sleep at night wanting to pick it up again the next day. At any rate I did thoroughly enjoy this book and I would totally recommend it to anyone else who would like a pleasant and exciting way of spending a number of hours.

Love his creative mind! Keeps me turning the pages and very engrossed in his style of writing.

About the author

Aaron Hodges was born in 1989 in the small town of Whakatane, New Zealand. He studied for five years at the University of Auckland, completing a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and Geography, and a Masters of Environmental Engineering. After working as an environmental consultant for two years, he grew tired of office work and decided to quit his job and see the world. Two years later, his travels have taken him through South East Asia, Canada, the USA, Mexico, Central America, and South America.
