About this ebook

Can one lone wolf save the world from fae who feed on pack bonds?

Half-werewolf Athena has spent her entire adult life keeping her human sister off the local alpha's radar. But when the Samhain Shifters come to town, she's thrown off her game.

Tank isn't at all what Athena had come to expect from an alpha. Rather than throwing his weight around and taking from the little guys, he risks his skin to fight off deadly fae who slip into our world one night per year.

"Join us," Tank tempts, prompting butterflies to take flight in Athena's stomach. The gig would be a one-week commitment, the work a boon to the common good, the result insurance for her sister's future. But if Athena drops her standards and runs with wolves, will she ever be able to attain independence again?

The Samhain Shifter series can be read in any order, with adventure, mystery, and a happily ever after in every book. Moon Glamour is book one.

This is the first book in Aimee Easterling’s Samhain Shifters urban fantasy/paranormal romance series. Although several of these characters were introduced in some of Easterling’s other shifter series, this story can be enjoyed on its own. And as always, Ms. Easterling has produced a fun, suspenseful shifter story with an exciting plot, plenty of action, suspense, a bit of romance, and a few laughs. I fell in love with Tank when he was introduced in the Moon Marked series, so I was delighted to read more about him. It took me longer to warm up to Athena. Her willingness to steal even from teammates really bothered me, and I couldn’t understand why Tank would support her in these actions. But Athena grows throughout the course of the story, and in the end, I felt like she redeemed herself. I also liked the way her face-blindness was incorporated into the story. I love that Easterling continues to expand the mythology of her world beyond the usual shifters, this time by adding fae, and perhaps even a unicorn. I also love how she continues to explore pack dynamics and pack bonds. I look forward to learning more in the subsequent books. This book contains some violence, swearing, and sexual suggestiveness but no explicit sexual content. I enjoyed the narration by RR Cummings. Her pace is fine and she’s easy to understand. Her character voices aren’t the most exciting, but they do help bring the story to life. She does a good job conveying the humor of the story. I volunteered to review an advanced reader copy as well as an audiobook provided to me by the author.

Great book with an imaginative plot. Hard to put down and if you begin reading in the evening, plan a late night!
