About this ebook

Fish Out Of Water: Book Four - A Fish Out of Water/Racing for the Sun Crossover

Can a hitman and a psychic negotiate a relationship while all hell breaks loose?

The world might not know who Lee Burton is, but it needs his black ops division and the work they do to keep it safe. Lee’s spent his life following orders—until he sees a kill jacket on Ernie Caulfield. Ernie isn’t a typical target, and something is very wrong with Burton’s chain of command.

Ernie’s life may seem adrift, but his every action helps to shelter his mind from the psychic storm raging within. When Lee Burton shows up to save him from assassins and club bunnies, Ernie seizes his hand and doesn’t look back. Burton is Ernie’s best bet in a tumultuous world, and after one day together, he’s pretty sure Lee knows Ernie is his destiny as well.

But when Burton refused Ernie’s contract, he kicked an entire piranha tank of bad guys, and Burton can’t rest until he takes down the rogue military unit that would try to kill a spacey psychic. Ernie’s in love with Burton and Burton’s confused as hell by Ernie—but Ernie’s not changing his mind and Burton can’t stay away. Psychics, assassins, and bad guys—throw them into the desert with a forbidden love affair and what could possibly go wrong?

I love this cover. Since I have read A Few Good Fish (Book Three in the series where we meet Burton and Ernie)I love really being able to picture Burton and he is just what I imagined. Hiding the Moon is book four in the Fish Out of Water Series. (I do recommend you read at least A Few Good Fish but the series does need to be read in Order. it also features characters from Racing For The Sun, however, you don't have to read this one to follow along. I haven't (but will). Burton is a black ops agent sent to take out Ernie. As soon as he reads the jacket he feels something off. His handler does as well so Burton goes to scope it out and if he feels its a bad call he will walk away. He has no plan to take out an innocent young man. Ernie is a psychic that can read peoples hearts and tell good from bad. Burton was going to walk away until he actually meets Ernie and he tells him he knew he would come. He also knows things about Burton that even he doesn't know Others arrive to take out the hit so Burton sweeps Ernie up to hide him with friends he can trust Ace and Sonny are from Racing for the sun but they appear in A Few Good fish where this story crosses over. I absolutely love all of these characters and we also get a little glimpse of Ellery and Jackson as well. I couldn't tell you my favorite character as every single one in this book are amazing (of course since it is an Amy Lane book). It is packed with action, romance, suspense, and of course some hot man-love. I highly Highly recommend this book!

About the author

Amy Lane is a mother of two grown kids, two half-grown kids, two small dogs, and half-a-clowder of cats. A compulsive knitter who writes because she can’t silence the voices in her head, she adores fur-babies, knitting socks, and hawt menz, and she dislikes moths, cat boxes, and knuckleheaded macspazzmatrons. She is rarely found cooking, cleaning, or doing domestic chores, but she has been known to knit up an emergency hat/blanket/pair of socks for any occasion whatsoever or sometimes for no reason at all. Her award-winning writing has three flavors: twisty-purple alternative universe, angsty-orange contemporary, and sunshine-yellow happy. By necessity, she has learned to type like the wind. She’s been married for twenty-five-plus years to her beloved Mate and still believes in Twu Wuv, with a capital Twu and a capital Wuv, and she doesn’t see any reason at all for that to change.
