About the author
Andy Tyson has worked for years at the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), Alpine Ascents International, and Exum Mountain Guides. He teaches and guides in the world's high peaks and remote ranges, training aspiring climbers and guides. Mike Clelland is an illustrator and NOLS instructor who has drawn cartoons for a series of instructional books for FalconGuides, including Allen and Mike's Really Cool Backcountry Ski Book and Allen & Mike's Really Cool Telemark Tips.
