About the author

 Ann Fernholm has a doctorate in molecular biotechnology and works as a journalist, writing for Sweden’s largest broadsheets and a number of science magazines. In 2010, she was named science writer of the year for her investigation of sun creams. In 2011 she produced a much discussed documentary about food recommendations for diabetics, which was broadcast on Swedish public service television.

When My Sweet Heart was published in 2012, Ann Fernholm started the blog It is now one of the most read health blogs in Sweden.
