I am a sucker for a single dad romance and add in a little forbidden with Paloma being the nanny and I was hooked. The story is not easy as all three characters have to find new footing but I loved the relationship building between all of them and how the story progresses. A great start to a new series.

I have read books about hockey players before, but I never would have thought a hockey coach could be hot. Needless to say, this author has changed my mind. All three characters (at different points in the story) made me sigh at their foolishness, swoon, want to grab them into a hug, or sit them down to give them a stern talking to. I received an ARC of this story to read and give my honest review.

After her mother has to have special medical care, Paloma knows she will have to find another nanny job. Silas gets a call telling him his sister has passed away from covid-19 and left an 8 year old child, listing him as next of kin. Paloma agrees to work for Silas and feels an instant attraction. Silas had a rough childhood and life and is afraid of commitment. Paloma doesn't believe he will ever stay with her. I loved this book. It's heartbreaking, warm, loving, and filled with hot steamy romance. Grab your copy today. I highly recommend this book.
