About this ebook

It’s true. I’m not what most people would call “pretty” and, well, high school was rough. Fast forward ten years and life is good...

Until a bunch of jerks think it’s hilarious to put the “butterface” (AKA me) on a wedding Kiss Cam with the hottest guy ever—and that old humiliation hits hard.

I recognize him immediately. The sexiest cop in Waterbury and totally out of my league.

But then he kisses me. And we totally forget the room, the crowd, everything.

Then he tells everyone we’ve been dating for months.

Soon everything starts to feel too real, from adorable fights over “necessary” tools to fix my broken porch to surviving a free-for-all dinner with his six siblings to picking up where our last kiss left off.

But there’s something he’s not telling me about why he’s really hanging around, and I’m pretty sure it has to do with my mob-connected brothers.

Because this is not a make-over story, and Cinderella is only a fairy tale...

Each book in the Hartigans series is STANDALONE:
* Butterface
* Muffin Top
* Tomboy

3.5 stars I'm a big fan of the "not so beautiful" people getting their HEA. Real people need love too. Butterface is sweet and cute. Filled with self deprecating humor and mean jokes from trolls, Butterface has its ups and downs. Learning to love ones self is hard and Gina has a long way to go. With a little help from Officer Never Breaks the Rules, or Detective Hartigan, Gina is going to learn a lot about herself. Personally, I'm not sure romantic comedy is the right way to describe this book. I thought it had amusing points but I wasn't laughing as much as I expected to. Reviewed for Sweet Spot Sisterhood

A Great Romantic Comedy!! Gina Luca is not what the world would consider a beautiful or even pretty heroine. But, she is a strong, independent woman who know her weaknesses and doesn't let that stop her from enjoying her life. Ford is the hot cop who sees past Gina's flaws to the girl she truly is. This story is fun, sexy and will open your eyes to just how much pressure we put on ourselves to be beautiful and live up to others expectations. Loved it!!

I gave the book 4 stars because of the whole girl that isnt a barbie gets the guy. However Do not use the read aloud. It is terrible. The porch becomes the pork when you use read aloud. Tons of words are mispronounced and makes no sense. If forces you to actually read the book which i cant do at work. Its almost broken english and you seriously can not understand the poor woman. The book was decent but i could not enjoy due to the horrid grammer.
