BARBARA BAGILHOLE, Professor of Equal Opportunities and Social Policy, School of Social Sciences, Loughborough University, UK, has researched and published extensively in the area of equal opportunities and diversity across gender, race, disability, sexual orientation, religious belief, age, and intersectionality. Her latest book is Understanding Equal Opportunities and Diversity.

KATE WHITE is Adjunct Research Associate, Centre for Women's Studies and Gender Research, Monash University, Australia, and Coordinator of the eight-country Women in Higher Education Management Network. She has published 12 books. Her current research interests are gender and higher education and women's academic careers.
