Owen was not prepared for commitment after having been taking care of his siblings when their parents died in a car accident when he still was quite young. Lisa was an independent woman working quite hard to get what she got. Their relationship was tumultuous and difficult. Apart from that, it took a lot of time, for my liking, because it made the story endless. Owen never did anything to change their situation and Lisa went on, on herself. I enjoyed the book, but I would have liked the story not to be so long in time. Three stars and a half. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
