The author learned a lot about baby sign language when her daughter was close to 1 year old. It rocked! It eliminated a lot of frustration, and screaming for things (as is seen in other kids sometimes). It was fantastic to be able to talk to her tiny creature in two way conversation after a year of one-way communication!

**Very well indexed with links so you find everything very easily, and jump to certain the word you want to learn.

About the author

Diana Sproul left the working world in 2005 to have her daughter, and become a stay-at-home mom (you know - working more hours for no money, and no glory). She was been a long-time member of the MOMS Clubs International, and a graphic & website designer. This project was a pet project while staying at home.

Her child was able to bring up amazing topics on the mind, like Dad at work!! She could talk about the dog she heard barking outside, say that she saw a baby in the store, and ask for milk in a calm way. She knew her needs would be answered.

And learning sign language actually helps the formation of language. Today her daughter is an avid talker - well-spoken, with a great vocabulary.

Ms. Sproul was a graphics and website designer for many years with her own company. Today, Ms. Sproul helps clients with nutrition, herbal medicine, and health coaching through her Transform Health company (website www.TransformHealth.biz). See her other book about how to avoid constipation in kids, entitled "Healing Your Child's Digestive Health”, and many others on this site, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble. (Search the name! – Easiest)
