I love the concepts and creations in this book; however, after attempting to make several of the designs suggested, I've found that there's usually one part of each recipe that is EXTREMELY difficult to find. For example, currently I want to make the bride and groom pops for a shower, but Poker Sprinkles are nowhere to be found on the Internet, much less stores. (Sure, they show up in a Google search, but try following the link to actually purchase some.) Unless you use her checklist at the very beginning of the book and farm craft stores and online for about a year (to catch all the holiday sprinkles that are needed for other-holiday-cake pops), you'll find yourself frustrated time and again. If you are naturally crafty and can easily improvise, this may not be frustrating for you, but as a first time cake popper I have been flummoxed again and again by the seasonal (and regional) treats that she uses for decoration. I would love for a later edition to include different options for the hard-to-find candies.
