Beauty and Boss is a modern twist on an age old fairytale. I have read a number of of stories and seen many movies with Beauty and the Beast as the basis for them. Diane Alberts foray into this arena is well deserving of praise. She took the story gave it a sultry finish and presto it worked. The longing felt between Maggie and Ben is eerily heartbreaking. The heat between them is impossible to ignore. I received an ARC of Beauty and The Boss in exchange for an honest review and will never look at the story in the same way.

I really liked this book! As expected the writing was great, the story very entertaining, and I connected with the characters right away. The reasons behind Ben's beastly drive at work are a bit heartbreaking and dealing with his loathsome mother would definitely have me drinking. Maggie is a breath of fresh air and just the right balance to Ben's character. The fake fiance ruse Maggie comes up with to get his mother off his back sounded good in her head, now can she pull it off and convince everyone else?? Definitely one you want to read. I highly recommend it.
