A quick shifter read with great characters. This is the seventeenth book in the Shifter Babies of America and does not disappoint. This one is about Hazel and Antonio and was intriguing to read. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

A short, enjoyable shifter novella about a law enforcement officer (Hazel) investigating the biggest illegal drug & weapon supplier (Mr. Black) in Illinois when she comes into contact with (Antonio) whom she is determined to help. There is: werebears, werepanthers, mafia, FBI, intrigue, suspense, attractions, deceit, betrayal, confrontations, happiness, love & some steam.

This is Illinois turn to get a story and this one has so much going on. Antonio Fabrizzi a Panther Shifter was adopted and raised by a criminal cartel of Bear Shifters who used him as a tool. But he wants to get away from them can Hazel Coleman an FBI field agent help him. Reading these two's story had me turning pages I had to know if he could get away from the evil in his life. I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing.
