I love this serial, I look forward to each new installment every week (although each one is a standalone), with each book being a bit size, quick read but engaging and entertaining. Louisiana features Ella and Victor. Ella is a young journalist stuck on the travel desk when all she really wants is to be recognised as a serious contender in her chosen field and desperate to prove herself as an investigative journalist. When she meets Victor and overhears a conversation between him and one of his pack her interest is piqued and she sets out to find out exactly what is going on which brings down a heap of trouble on her head. Victor is lovely, he is the Alpha of one of the largest packs in the country and his people are being attacked. What he dreads most is one of his people being pushed beyond their limits and revealing themselves to the human population as New Orleans is full of superstition and he knows that Shifters won't be easily accepted there. Can he discover who is behind the attacks whilst at the same time keeping Ella safe? When their attraction gets the best of them can they build a future together? I must say that Victor's grand gesture, whilst really OTT, was perfect! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Entertaining shifter romance with danger, drama and so much more. Ella is very feisty and determined. Her curiosity ends up putting her in danger. Victor is investigating his pack member deaths. This was well written with great characters that kept me turning the pages. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I'm really enjoying this series of short standalones, and each one leaves me excited to see what's next. Louisiana gives us Ella and Victor, and they are the perfect example of fated to be together. They can't seem to stay away from each other whether they think it's the right thing to do or not, and I love Ella's feisty attitude. The book is packed full of great characters, romance, and a bit of danger and excitement, and it's all in a story that can easily be read in under an hour. It's perfect for a quick bedtime read that's sure to send you off to dreamland with a smile.
