This is a short but sweet novella. It is about a young woman (Kirsty Fox) who is training to go on a dream race & decides to run 27 mile in Big Ben National Park but passes out due to heat exhaustion, she is rescued by a park ranger & bear shifter (Samuel Brooks) who actually had different plans for this particular day. The characters are interesting & realistic with their emotions, I found the story-line and plot entertaining. There is: bear shifters, humans, some twists, a unexpected confrontation, shock, confusion, attractions, verbal banter, honesty, determination, love, contentment, & some steam & a happy ending. I really enjoyed read this short novella & would recommend it.

I loved Kristy and Sam, the two were amazing as individuals but as a couple they were outstanding. Kristy got herself into a bad situation when she pushes her limits too far and has to be rescued by Sam. These two have amazing chemistry and just so sweet together. I think how Kristy wanted to inspire her students was beautiful and I loved her determination. This is another great book in the series. I enjoyed reading this book 📚, It is filled with action, the interaction and chemistry between the characters is wonderful. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
