I've read several books written by Isabel Jolie; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the first book in the Arrow Tactical Security Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Alexandria & Wolf; he’s a former black ops and is now in secrutiy; she’s a psychologist; both are working to save a kidnapped child. I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.

Kept my interest: This was an exciting start to what looks like is going to be another great series. It is a spinoff from the Twisted Vines series but it is not necessary to have read those in order to still be able to enjoy this one. I found this book to be interesting and complex yet the pacing was rather slow and the mystery could have done with a bit more suspense. It was only right at the end that things sped up and heated up. I liked Nick and Alex as a couple and was glad that they made things work without any unnecessary drama. All in all, this was an enjoyable romantic suspense and I look forward to reading the upcoming books. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
