Ratings and reviews

The fact that the villain remained virtually anonymous, faceless and voiceless all throughout the story was a genius move of the author. It made me glued to the story, why he did those things to his victims. In the end, any explanation will still leave you unsatisfied. Coz that's what evil is -- senseless. I also like the fact that Rose may never feel the same again but one thing's for sure -- a victim she ain't no more.

Exciting story with so much action. The sexual details are not given too in depth but more romantic. The violence is sugar coated making this an easier read than I thought. Loved the ending.

loved this book. I enjoy the other books I have read by this author - they are generally funny and flippant while dealing some darker topics, but this story has a lot of depth dealing with the baggage and struggle to heal with out going in depth into the specific traumas suffered. The characters are all kick....butt.... strong characters with flaws that you love as much more for!
