About this ebook

Wiglaf, the last remaining relative of the deceased heroic king of Geatland, Beowulf, was in for the fight of his life against the giant two-headed mountain troll and his vicious flock of ravens in the forbidden and mysterious lands of the Hardanger Kingdom of Norway. At stake was the very survival of those who occupied those strange forests, including Wiglaf's newfound love, Elenora, a lady troll who had rescued him from winter's deadly, icy grip. It would be a historic battle against time in the snow-covered mountainous fjords where good fought evil and the outcome could mean a brighter future and hope for all during the sixth century A.D. - in the northern most country of Europe.

About the author

Exploring the fjords of Norway in the summer of 2017, Bill Girvin took what many consider to be one of the most beautiful yet dangerous hikes in that Scandinavian country, Trolltunga. Upon his return to his home in California, he felt so inspired by that journey he created The Legend of Trolltunga. He began his writing career using fondly remembered experiences from years before when he had hitchhiked throughout the United States, hopping freight trains across Canada, making his way through Europe and, eventually, Asia in a Volkswagen van, going overland to India. He had also ventured overland through Central and South America, hitching rides on the back of trucks going across the Andes Mountains to Machu Picchu. He considers life itself to be a gift and encourages all to travel and explore the world.
