Información sobre este eBook

India is slowly becoming the global capital of non-infectious diseases like obesity,

high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease and stroke. Obesity is a disease by

itself, but it can also cause serious complications in people suffering from the above-

mentioned diseases. Insulin plays a crucial role in making us obese. Sticking to a

carbohydrate-rich diet results in increasing levels of insulin in the body. This

increased level of insulin causes the above-mentioned diseases.

Some people have made a business out of helping others to lose weight. It is

unfortunate that in many cases we see that although there is no reduction in the

weight, there is certainly a reduction in the finances! As a result, people become

depressed. The weight-loss technique prescribed in this book is simple and can be

implemented effectively, without any expense. Neither is there a need to consult any

doctor, nor to buy expensive equipment, food supplements or gadgets. What is

unique about this technique is that anybody can use it without any problems, lifelong!

This weight-loss technique, which reduces the levels of insulin in the blood not only

reduces the weight, but also helps to prevent the above-mentioned dangerous

diseases like diabetes, or at least, helps to delay their inception. This method is

absolutely invaluable from the point of view of public health.

The late Dr. Jichkar had made great efforts to promote this simple technique through

his lectures not only in Maharashtra but also throughout India. Through the program

of ‘World Free of Obesity and Diabetes Campaign’, Dr. Jagannath Dixit is ensuring

that the steps taken by Dr. Jichkar are transformed into a far-reaching movement

across the world!
