About this ebook

The recent Strigoi attack at St. Vladimir’s Academy was the deadliest ever in the school’s history, claiming the lives of Moroi students, teachers, and guardians alike. Even worse, the Strigoi took some of their victims with them . . . including Dimitri.

He’d rather die than be one of them, and now Rose must abandon her best friend, Lissa—the one she has sworn to protect no matter what—and keep the promise Dimitri begged her to make long ago. But with everything at stake, how can she possibly destroy the person she loves most?

This was certainly not my favourite book as we don't see much of anyone. It was touching how she wanted to be with Dimitri but with him as a Strigoi it would be different. They discussed when they were in the cabin that if either had ever turned Strigoi the other would have to kill him/her. That is what they wanted. Rose couldn't kill him she stopped the same thing that happened with Natalie from the first book. You can understand this. I mean she loves Dimitri and stalled in killing him.She let him escape her. In the end she returns Lissa forgives her for leaving. Avery was just this girl who added a bit of drama to Lissa and Adrian's life. I'm glad that Rose and Adrian look promising.

The author spends way to much time recapping events from previous books. Other than that, their were a couple of surprises. Over all I enjoyed it and I look forward to the next book.

I've always been a fan since day 1. Hated the movie though. It really didn't go along with booms and actors were terrible. Should do a remake
