This book explores the Complementary Management Model. The key mechanisms of Complementary Management include the primacy of employee self-leadership, compensatory interventions of the line manager in the absence of such self-steerage, and active roles for senior managers and HR advisors in the management/leadership process. About the author

Dr. Boris Kaehler is a professor of human resource management at a German university and an expert in the field of management and leadership. Prior to teaching, he gained a decade of experience as a corporate HR manager and today also works as a part-time HR strategy consultant, management trainer and coach.
