I found this story very enjoyable to read and I loved the characters Catena who is struggling to decide what field of science she wants to enter for a scholarship for her PhD. Walking home from college at night she trips over a man who chases her and pleas for help which awakens Tor, a gargoyle, who answers her plea. What occurs afterwards was an enjoyable story that kept my interest. I always enjoyed gargoyle romance stories, and this was an engaging read to what looks like a wonderful series to read. I volunteer to read and review this ARC.

Funny, Interesting how this story turned out that Catena couldn’t share her feelings with anyone. looking into her neighbors claims about these shoes she found. Tor maybe can be human when leaving his past behind him.
