About this eBook

A simple arrangement. A complicated future.

Lia Dove has always been a free spirit, living life to the fullest and never putting down roots. But after finding her birth father, along with a group of lovable, rowdy bikers, she can’t imagine being anywhere else. Throw in a hot biker roommate who offers her no-strings-attached deal as the cherry on top and leaving becomes an afterthought.

Leo Hawk has never felt part of anything until he becomes a prospect in a local motorcycle club. But catching feelings for his roommate, who’s also the club president’s daughter, could spell disaster before he earns his patch.

But when the past comes back to haunt him thanks to his missing older brother, Leo will have to lean on his biker brothers for help, risking a future with the club and the woman he’s grown to love.

Broken Dove is an interconnected standalone friends-to-lovers, motorcycle club romance, but can be read and enjoyed alone.

I liked this book. I have to be honest here and say that some of the twists this story took were a bit of a surprise, still I enjoyed it. Leo and Lia were likable, I loved their chemistry and I thought that they made a very good couple. A skillfully crafted blend of emotion, drama, heat, suspense and tension fuels this read and keeps you turning those pages. This is my candid, volitional review.

Great story. Lia is the MC president’s long lost daughter and she’s finally found a home but she’s living with one of the prospects to the club and even though they are great together, her father would have a fit if he knew they were more than roommates. But when Leo’s past comes back to haunt him, they’ll have to work together. I really liked Lia and Leo together. They were good to and for each other but there were a few times when I wanted to slap Leo for giving up too easy. I understand he had so very much to lose and he’d lost enough already, but there was a part where I wanted to jump into the book and give him a shake. Fortunately that didn’t last too long and together they found a way through the mess of Leo’s past. Great story.

***** AUDIOBOOK REVIEW ***** I think this is the first time I’ve rated any Chelle Bliss book anything other than 5-stars. The loss of the one star is on Lia’s shoulders. I struggled to really feel her real feelings for Leo. Since she had a lot of thoughts happening for another guy. It just made it feel like their love wasn’t as strong. Other than that, I enjoyed the story a lot. Leo is a fantastic character and I loved seeing him find his footing and handling business. I also enjoyed seeing the characters from Broken Sparrow, Alice and Morse. The narration by Connor Crais and Samantha Brentmoor was perfect. Connor Crais is able to be a strong male character while still able to portray those feelings Leo felt for Lia. I always enjoy the balance narrators find when they need to be strong yet loving. Crais did an amazing job straddling that line. Brentmoor had a more emotional character to play. Lia wears her emotions on her sleeve and she’s a bit more of a free spirit. Brentmoor really showcased Lia’s traits and personality in a way that just brought her to life for me. The narrators were just flawless!
