About this ebook

Meet the Kincade brothers: they’ll go to any lengths to protect their legacy—

but what happens when love gets in the way...?

As if the holidays weren’t stressful enough, Parker Kincade has a restaurant to open. The fact that his Groomzilla brother wants the place for his perfect Christmas wedding doesn’t help. Then there’s the stunning woman who appoints herself his new chef before he’s ready to hire one. But one look at Gabriella Montani has Parker reassessing needs vs. wants. And that’s before he tastes what she has to offer…

Gabriella doesn’t need to get tangled up with a sexy man. What she needs is a job and a chance to prove herself. A place in Parker’s kitchen could give her the opportunity she’s been waiting for. The heat between them is sizzling, but a place in his bed could be downright dangerous. Neither Christmas nor men have ever lived up to her expectations, but Parker has soulmate written all over him. Should Gabi let herself be swept up in his holiday magic, or will it disappear before Christmas Day?

Every book in this series just gets better and better - and with Parker on the hot seat for this one: runing his food truck, building his restaurant in the old barn on the vineyard property, and dealing with a "groomzilla" of a brother in Jordan, convincing his newly-found half-sister that she is a part of the Vineyard and the Kincaides, and working to pin down his Aunt Pippy to share the whole story of his parents' marriage. He doesn't have time for guilt, or to look for a relationship. Fortunately, that relationship comes to him in the perfectly bold and determined package that is Gabriella Montani. Walking into a restaurant under construction with a plan: a plan to dazzle Parker with her food and score an early foot in the door, avoiding all those awkward questions about where she trained and what experience she has, Gabi takes Parker’s breath away. That lethal combination of determination, heart, beauty and surprising frankness intrigues him: and while he’s willing to give her a no-strings option, he’s not willing to commit to either a job or more. But, not surprisingly, Gabi comes with her own set of rules and issues: and Parker is the perfect man to scratch the itch for one moment, before she pulls back to focus on food. So well-matched and completely adorable – these two leap off the pages with their steam, their heart and the genuine development of a relationship that started quickly while neither was looking. And with everything going on – it really was hard for Parker to keep his eyes on one thing – from discovering (finally) the story behind their parents’ marriage, discovering Gabi’s incredible heart, dealing with the pressures of Jordan’s upcoming wedding and trying to grasp and organize the final details involved in opening a restaurant, Christmas and the never-ending itch to see Gabi….. So full of emotions and answers with Parker’s own inability to find the right words at the right time almost *but not quite* led to the end of something wonderful for both Gabi and Parker –but also brought both of them to the forefront in handling (or starting to recognize and handle) their own issues with trust, old baggage and finding ways to let go of guilt, accepting change and allowing possibility a toehold. Oh there were tons of questions answered, plenty of heartwarming (and alternately heartbreaking) moments and steam enough to almost set poor bubbly-Basil the Beta into boil mode. Each story gets better – reinforces the family connections and love that will bring them all forward, together and united. I received an eArc copy of the title from the publisher via Edelweiss for the purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.
