Sooo relaxing after the procedure! 3 days ago I used q- tip just to dry the outer canal of my both inner ears which is my routine after taking a bath.. Yesterday, I first felt an on & off throbbing left ear ache that was radiating to the top of my left ear going to the upper left side of my head.i thought I might have pushed the q- tip deeper than usual when I dried the outer canal of my left ear during that time. This morning, tried to make an appointment to see my doctor but was on vacation. But my husband thought to use this Chinese candling thing to remove an ear wax. He said he has a stock that he bought on line few months ago but has not t used it yet , so he convinced me to “try it”. I did not have a choice but to try it due to the ear discomfort which I thought it is safe anyway. My husband did it for me since he said he saw the procedure on line. Violaaaa! Even during the procedure I already felt a release of an ear pressure & I did not want to have the procedure stop. However, I was still not convinced if it really pulled out some earwax so we opened that white tube like a straw that was inserted on the outer ear canal & there were few hardened light yellow waxes.. Still skeptical , we repeated the procedure on the left ear.. no ear wax found this 2nd time inside the white tube. We tried the left ear & found more melted light yellow waxy thing inside the white tube. But whatever this procedure is, i felt a great relief from it. Then still after the procedure I was waiting & observing if the ear ache & radiating pain to the top of the head would recur but ,.. thank God it did not. My husband said..” you know Chinese know a lot of ancient traditional medicine, so believe them also sometimes.”... I just smiled. The thing is I really was able to take a nap ... wow a continuous healing !

Ear candling does work. Be careful doing this yourself. You can get a bad burn. I got my ear candles on ebay. This is a practice that has been going on for hundreds of years if not longer.

Skeptical only because I've lit my head on fire before using common household substances. I'm a klutz cannot hear. I just tried hydrogen peroxide in my ear and I suddenly cannot hear. In that ear I cannot hear. Thankfully there is no hydrogen peroxide in the other
