Can they find a second chance for love? With so much baggage between them and so many bittersweet memories, can she break the rule she created to protect her heart?

Acerca del autor

Vickie King is originally from a small town in West Virginia. She transplanted to Jacksonville, Florida in 1994, and while she loves living in the sunshine state, now and then she misses watching the seasons go through their changes, and if she closes her eyes, she can still imagine herself standing on the deck of their family home on top of the ridge, staring out over the hills and valleys that will always be a part of her. She loves going back to West Virginia to visit family and friends. One of her favorite times of day when she visits is early in the morning on a summer day when she can take her coffee and a book out onto the deck. Not only has Vickie been an ardent reader all her life, she can't remember a time when she didn't write stories. She is previously published in short fiction for Woman's World Magazine in both romance and mystery and with a romantic short story for the Sun. She is a member of Romance Writers of America (RWA), and she is active in her local chapter, Ancient City Romance Authors (ACRA), where she serves on the Board of Directors.
