This is such an interesting concept - which I think worked really well... an update on the Montgomery Ink series, with 8 brand new short stories AND a cookbook - each story has a number of recipes referenced or linked to the short story you have just read. You don't need to have read all of the original Montgomery Ink Books, but I prefer to get my updates in order so was pleased that I had all the relevant backstories already.

The Montgomery family always have lots of family meals and this book not only lets us catch up with some of our favourite family members but also gives us the recipes for the meals they enjoy. It is great to see how the couples (and throuple) and families have grown. I love that family always come first for the Montgomerys and they will drop everything to help their family. the recipes are well written and look delicious.

A delightful collection of short romance stories that brings use back to the Montgomery Ink characters that made us fall in love with the series. Montgomery Ink Bites gives us more of the characters life with recipes that brings the family together, this newest release just made the characters come to life as we can relate to their everyday adventures. An unexpected yet enjoyable stories.
