Cathryn Fox is a new-to-me author. I was drawn to this book as soon as I read the description - it's so rare to find a romance with significant Canadian content as this book has. I grew up in Nova Scotia as well, so it was easy to relate to many of the scenarios in the book. Crazy Apologetic Canadians had me laughing aloud at times - this book is highly enjoyable and I'll definitely be reading more by this author!

I started this book and by page two, I was already giggling, and knew this was going to be awesome! The fun continued and it did not let me down even a smidge. I loved every second of Colin and Violet’s story. It isn’t just fun, though there is a lot of that, but these two have amazing chemistry, and when they act on it, scorching heat. This book just made me feel good, maybe it’s my maritime pride, or maybe it’s that it all seemed familiar.
