I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it. This was a charming story about a man (Nate Thomas) who HATES change in his life and in his town of Gallant Lake. Brittany Doyle, on the other hand, is sent to the small town in the Catskills to purchase up the lakeside businesses for her boss. Brittney "the Barracuda" is looking for a promotion to partner after this. She goes in and unexpectedly falls for the town, the people and especially Nate. These two have several roadblocks in their future. Can the woman who grew up practically homeless come to love a man who was lied to by his own father? I adored the POV format that this book was written in. Seeing their thoughts really helped me to connect with them so much better. I haven't faced what these two have so it really helped me to fully understand where they were coming from with their actions and communication with each other. This story is sexy but not a lot of detail was given. Saying that though, I would only recommend this to someone over the age of 18.
