Two almost perfect people that are perfect for each other. That's Hannah and Alex. Even though they have their own issues and pasts to deal with, they grow and come to realize that what they have is the real perfect thing. Loved reading this and seeing their growth and transformation. I just listened to the audio and loved every minute of it. I was already a fan of Joe Arden and now I can add CJ Bloom to the list of narrators I love. They bring these characters to life and had me feeling like I was there with them.

Alex and Hannah make for a complex relationship, whether Hannah wants to call it that or not. It's a bit of a love/hate thing, and when the snark flies, it really soars. This one is a RomCom, but it's also more than that. There's plenty of emotion mixed in with the laughs. Both Alex and Hannah are a bit broken, and they both need to learn to trust, particularly Hannah. This couple has great chemistry, even when they hate each other, and the secondary characters add some extra fun to the story, including a couple of scene-stealers here and there. I love Hannah's dad, and Draco the cat is a hoot. The story is fast-paced, engaging, and a wonderful combination of sweet, sexy, and emotional romance. That's what I had to say when I read the book. Now, combine all that emotion, snark, and humor with the narration of Joe Arden and CJ Bloom. That's a hard-to-beat combination. Joe Arden captures Alex perfectly, and CJ Bloom does the same with Hannah. Whether these two are verbally sparring or falling all over each other, it's all there in the voices. And I can't even tell you how many times I chuckled, snickered, or flat out laughed while listening. So, if you're looking for a completely engaging listen, Almost Perfect is the way to go.

Another tale from the Spearman clan. Hannah and Alex had a history but had gone their separate ways. Now they must deal with their feelings when they are brought together again. Hannah was determined to keep her best friend's brother at arms' length without much luck. She was intelligent, caring, and loyal. Alex was a bit broken but came to realize Hannah was a balm for his soul. The heat between them was definitely scorching, and I enjoyed their interactions, humorous, touching, and serious. I look forward to the next in the series. I thoroughly enjoyed the narration by Joe Arden and CJ Bloom. Their characterizations of all the characters made the story that much more worth the listen. I was gifted the audiobook, and this is my unsolicited review.
