There's a whole new world of global warming science today, but few people hear about it. Patrick J. Michaels is senior fellow in environmental studies at the Cato Institute and Distinguished Senior Fellow in the School of Public Policy at George Mason University. He is also a past president of the American Association of State Climatologists.

Robert C. Balling, Jr. is director of the Laboratory of Climatology at Arizona State University. He is the author of The Satanic Gases: Clearing The Air About Global Warming and The Heated Debate: Greenhouse Predictions Versus Climate Reality.
