Wow! Fans of second chance romances, strong alpha heroes, a little drama, some suspense, good guys out to beat the bad guys.....well Counting on Cole is the book for you. The heroine is strong but does know she has weaknesses and can't do everything or always save herself. The hero is an alpha all the way. If you don't like over the top strong alpha heroes we'll then Cole isn't for you. Personally I loved Cole. The story is very believable and easy to see being true. The romance is strong realistic and sexy. This story is very sexy so its not for the readers who are looking a sweet romance. It's not one where you can skip the hotter parts.... They actually play a part in the overall story. This is part of a series but can be read alone, you won't be lost. It has connected characters but a storyline that is connected. There is a HEA so you know it will end happily. I love Cynthia Eden's writing and will warn you that once you find a novel by her you'll want to read them all. I highly recommend this story.

Holy alpha hotness!!! Cole just set the bar for another amazing alpha hero! I enjoy a second chance story but sometimes the hero is let off way too easily. Not so here. Evie made Cole sweat even as she gave him “what for” for breaking her heart two years ago. She doesn’t let him back in with just a hello. She is fierce and feisty, smart and witty and she is in danger, again. Cole is exactly the type of hero that I love and salivate over. He was so jealous that even as Evie worked he could barely contain himself. He is also protective to the extreme. It is his job to keep her safe and he is taking it as seriously as he’s taking his second chance with the woman he could never forget. I loved everything about Cole and Evie as well as their struggle to keep her safe, find the bad guy and heal the past with a new fiery relationship. This couple absolutely sizzle across the pages. Add in secondary characters that bring fun banter and a light humor and this made for a great read!

We are re-introduced to several agents at Wilde Ways Security : James ‘Ghost’ Smith, Chase Durant, and Eric Wilde. COUNTING ON COLE is a fast paced, energetic and engaging story line. The characters are dynamic and spirited; the romance is tender, provocative and captivating. COUNTING ON COLE is another welcome addition to Cynthia Eden’s WILDE WAYS romantic, suspense series.
