(From the Author's Introduction dated Jan. 21, 2008)
Rochelle Lynn Holt, author/editor/educator/counselor for forty, thirty and twenty years respectively, is well qualified to write this new reference to both emotions and a medley of creatures linked to same. FROM DAWN TO DUSK (iUniverse ?07) delineated the stages of grief she personally experienced, a helpful guide for others confronting loss in their lives. A letter-writer for decades until she entered the e-mail world, Dr. Holt juxtaposes a hands-on experience for readers as well as an enlightening journey that aids in ecological preservation by citing an inordinate number of creatures who parallel varied human emotions.
Born in Chicago, Illinois where she has returned (Bolingbrook) to live part of the year, the author has always been a lover of nature, introduced to her in Iowa, Mississippi, Alabama, Virginia, the Caribbean islands, including St. Croix as well her many journeys through the United States: Oregon, West Virginia, California, Pennsylvania, Maine, New Jersey, etc. She has lived in Ft Myers, Florida since 1995.
