About this ebook

Welcome to Hathaway House. Rehab Center. Safe Haven. Second chance at life and love.

It was Aaron who convinced Percy to take a chance on Hathaway House. Yet, when he arrives, Aaron is back at school, and Percy’s alone after all. The place is everything Aaron said it was, but the trip getting here set his progress back, from slow to nonexistent.

Giada has worked at the center for several years and always went home happily to her brother at the end of the day. Only now her brother is engaged and planning to marry in six months. Change is happening, whether she likes it or not. And, in this case, it brings up a lot of turbulence in the family dynamic. Dani offers Giada a place of her own here at Hathaway’s staff quarters, but the path forward is not so easy. Thankfully Percy is there as both a comfort and a friend.

Now if only he could find the progress he’s looking for, and she could find the new beginning of her own …

Giada, an employee crunching the numbers at Hathaway House; rehabilitation center for wounded ex military; Giada a women with inner strength and capacity to care, to nurture. Percy our wounded ex military who saw no hope of improvement but trusted in Aaron and came. Percy with the intelligence and compassion to see what is going on in Giada's life and calls her on it even as he struggles with his own rehabilitation. This is such a great series, it is always heartwarming, always showing the sun that is behind the clouds waiting to come out, always reminding us what our deployed go through when they come home to an overwhelmed VA system. Each time I read these books I wonder if there is someone, somewhere with the capabilities of making a Hathaway House in the USA, and that every book sold could go to that facility to help. Wishful thinking? Thank you for another inspiring book in this series, thank you for the arc. I freely volunteer my thoughts and opinions.

Percy is finally at Hathaway House and while he still isn't sure they can help him he is ready to give it a go, what he doesn't expect is Giada. I really liked how Percy and Giada offer advice to each other and they fall for each other slowly and have their own struggles to get through and to be honest there were times I was worried for what would happen to her by her bother. Everyone at Hathaway House really is like a big family and all have different struggles to go through whether physical or mental and it's ok and better to lean on someone to get through it. I love the Hathaway House Romance books. All of the books are about healing and risks, of warm characters and insight in the lives of wounded warriors. This particular book is about change for Percy and for Giada. Family dynamics makes the journey even more interesting. The caring of beloved characters give the reader mental hugs even as the story unfolds. So, so good!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
