Emma Townshend has taught courses on Darwin since being a postgraduate at Cambridge, most recently for the Department of Continuing Education in Oxford. She was particularly involved in Oxford's online course project € ̃Alllearn', under the aegis of Richard Dawkins. She is the gardening columnist at The Independent on Sunday.
